The City Solicitor is currently preparing a report to request further instructions and to provide confidential legal advice on a court application brought by Uber Canada Inc. and Uber Raisier Canada Inc. against the City. The City Solicitor's report is intended to be considered by City Council at its meeting of December 13, 14, and 15, 2023 and will be made available before that meeting.
