We need people to vote on Candidates and vote on Items · For Candidates · When we hit VOTE on Candidate record · It will create a record to link a user has voted for that particular election · But we don't want to record who they voted for (Candidate) but still update on a count on the Candidate record · Back on the Election record, have a button for Close Voting. Once clicked it should create a Voting Outcome record to give the results based on the rules if they are defined somewhere · For Items · When we hit VOTE or add VOTE when on an Item it creates a vote record · If we have a workflow then we can guide users who can and cannot vote · Maybe there should be a place where we define what voting rules to use · Have a button to close votes, once done it will create a Voting Outcome record and not allow any new vote records to be created
