The Works includes, but is not limited to the following: The purpose of this Project is to provide Cathodic Protection of Existing Ductile Iron Watermain Pipes using exclusively either Magnesium Anodes or Zinc Anodes to approximately 68 km of the existing watermain distribution system (in Wards 2, 3, 5, 16, 18, 21, and 24) by installing anodes on existing metallic watermain pipes.
